About the role
Eptec is seeking an experienced Blast & Paint Supervisor to lead its field team in Brisbane, supporting Defence Solutions projects across Queensland. This hands‑on leadership position requires delivering high‑quality outcomes safely, on time, and in full compliance with contract and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of field‑based painters and blasters.
- Drive Eptec’s Zero Harm safety culture and ensure compliance with risk assessments and quality control procedures.
- Oversee project delivery, including task planning, documentation and progress reporting.
- Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet compliance and quality benchmarks.
Required profile
- 2–3+ years supervising blast & paint, remediation or waterproofing works.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Background in defence or infrastructure remediation is highly desirable.
- Australian citizenship required for security clearance.
Required skills
- Technical expertise in surface preparation and coating systems.
- Knowledge of hazardous substances handling and QA/QC processes.
- NACE Level 2 certification (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for site documentation.
