Bartender – Champagne Bar

About the role

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is seeking a Bartender for its vibrant Champagne Bar. You will craft cocktails, serve champagne, wine and other beverages while delivering warm, personalised service to guests in a luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, champagne, wine, spirits and other beverages to Sofitel standards.
• Engage with guests, recommend drinks based on preferences and maintain excellent bar presentation.
• Take orders, process transactions and keep accurate guest accounts.
• Assist with stock replenishment, stocktakes, ordering and minimise wastage.
• Uphold responsible service of alcohol standards and support the wider Food & Beverage team.

Required profile

• Previous bartending or beverage service experience, preferably in a premium or high‑volume environment.
• Passion for cocktails, champagne, wine and delivering exceptional guest service.
• Strong product knowledge, attention to detail and a charismatic, guest‑focused personality.
• Ability to stay calm, organised and attentive during busy periods.
• Current RSA certificate, full Australian working rights and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
