Banking Consultant – Rockhampton

About the role

ANZ is looking for enthusiastic Banking Consultants to join its Retail Banking team in Rockhampton. You will help customers navigate their financial journeys, delivering seamless service across transactions, advice and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end banking services, including transactions, product advice and digital channel support.
• Engage in needs‑based conversations to understand customer goals and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service to turn clients into strong advocates for ANZ.
• Support branch operations, including occasional Saturday rostered shifts.
• Participate in bank programmes and initiatives that drive customer engagement.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with retail banking experience.
• Ability to conduct risk‑aware ‘know your customer’ assessments.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and act as a peer coach.
• Flexibility to work casual, part‑time or full‑time arrangements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ANZ’s digital banking platforms and product suite.
