Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Townsville)

About the role
As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in Townsville. You will meet end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct transactions, hold needs‑based conversations and educate clients on digital and traditional financial solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Drive customer engagement and advocacy by providing high‑quality service.
- Support and participate in bank programmes and initiatives.
- Apply “know your customer” principles from a risk perspective.
- Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
- Perform customer transactions and recommend products according to accreditation level.
Required profile
- Strong customer focus with retail experience (preferred).
- Comfortable using digital channels and technology.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
- Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate.
- Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
