Banking Consultant (Retail Banking)

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant for its Retail Banking team in Cleveland, Queensland. The role is based mainly in the branch and focuses on meeting each customer's end-to-end financial needs and goals, from transaction activities to needs-based conversations and education on available financial solutions, including digital ones. It is a permanent, part-time position of 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers with a seamless banking experience by completing transactions, having needs-based conversations and fulfilling products according to your accreditation level.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service so customers become strong advocates of ANZ.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and take responsibility for compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Support bank programs and initiatives.

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; not expected to have all listed skills.
• Exceptional customer focus.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
