Banking Consultant – Retail Banking, Gouger

About the role

ANZ is recruiting Banking Consultants for its Retail Banking team in Gouger, working mainly in branches. You will help customers get a seamless banking experience by meeting their end-to-end financial needs and goals, covering transaction activities, needs-based conversations and education on financial solutions, including digital ones. The role is open to casual, part-time and full-time positions, and may involve rostered Saturday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Complete customer transactions and hold in-depth needs-based conversations within your accreditation level
• Deliver a high standard of customer service so customers become strong advocates of ANZ
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and comply with ANZ and branch policies and procedures
• Support bank programs and initiatives and contribute to higher customer engagement and advocacy

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; customer focus is essential
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team and adapt to change and ambiguity
• Sound understanding of compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Not expected to have all listed skills; a growth mindset is valued

Required skills

• Working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage
• Ability to multi-task
