Banking Consultant – Part‑time (Virginia, QLD)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in the Virginia branch. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct needs‑based conversations, and guide customers through digital and traditional solutions while meeting compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, completing transactions and recommending products according to accreditation level.
• Engage customers to increase advocacy and satisfaction.
• Support and participate in bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within the branch team.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Proficiency in using digital banking channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of banking products and compliance requirements.
