Banking Consultant – Part‑time Retail Banking Role

About the role

ANZ is seeking a part‑time Banking Consultant to join its Retail Banking team in Hobart. Working 20 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 am‑3:00 pm), you will deliver a seamless banking experience, helping customers meet their financial goals through personalised conversations and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service in‑branch, ensuring customers become strong advocates for ANZ.
• Engage customers in needs‑based conversations and promote appropriate financial products.
• Support bank programmes and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain a thorough “know‑your‑customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology, especially digital banking channels.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in ambiguous situations.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
