Banking Consultant – Part‑time (Maroochydore)

About the role

The S&S Banking Consultant role supports customers through face‑to‑face interactions and inbound/outbound calls, handling everyday banking enquiries, account openings and digital onboarding. You will work in a modern retail shop environment, helping clients transition to digital banking while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer‑focused service that drives satisfaction and first‑call resolution.
• Answer everyday banking enquiries and guide customers through account opening processes via phone or online channels.
• Educate and support customers in using digital banking platforms, encouraging self‑service.
• Assist with digital onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new clients.
• Listen actively, build trust, ask relevant questions and exceed customer expectations, contributing to strong NPS results.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, privacy legislation, FSRA requirements and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience delivering high‑quality customer service in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to balance customer, risk, and performance outcomes.
• Commitment to continual learning and adoption of digital tools.
• Flexibility to work 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
