Banking Consultant

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in the Cairns branch. You will address their end‑to‑end financial needs, promote digital solutions and ensure each interaction builds strong advocacy for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand their financial goals and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Process transactions accurately and comply with all ANZ and branch policies.
• Promote and educate customers on digital banking channels and services.
• Contribute to branch initiatives aimed at increasing customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and act as a peer coach.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using digital banking channels and related technology.
