About the role
The Banking Consultant role is based in a branch environment, delivering a seamless banking experience to customers by meeting their end‑to‑end financial needs, conducting needs‑based conversations, and promoting digital solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customers with a smooth branch experience, handling transactions and advising on financial products.
- Engage in needs‑based conversations and educate customers on digital banking options.
- Act as a peer coach and role model within the team to enhance customer experience.
- Support bank programs and initiatives, contributing to higher customer engagement and advocacy.
- Maintain compliance with ANZ and branch policies, including risk‑based “know your customer” responsibilities.
Required profile
- Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
- Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in an ambiguous environment.
- Team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of compliance requirements.
