Banking Consultant – Branch Customer Service

About the role

The Banking Consultant works primarily in a branch environment, delivering a seamless banking experience to customers. You will meet each client’s end‑to‑end financial needs, guide them through transactions, and educate them on digital banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a smooth branch experience by handling transactions, conducting needs‑based conversations, and promoting digital channels.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives, supporting broader organisational goals.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile and ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital banking channels.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in ambiguous situations.
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
