About the role
Atlassian is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join its Sydney engineering teams. You will work on a variety of products such as Jira Server, Jira Cloud, and Growth, contributing to the development of tools that help teams worldwide get work done.
Key responsibilities
- Drive projects independently from technical design through launch.
- Apply architectural standards to new initiatives.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes.
- Write useful technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.
Required profile
- Experience with a prominent programming language (Java, Python, C#, C/C++, or Ruby).
- Deep understanding of data structures and their practical application.
- Passion for collaboration, tackling hard problems, and asking questions.
- Strong appetite for continuous learning and growth as a developer and teammate.
