About the role
Join TikTok’s Trust and Safety engineering team as a Backend Software Engineer Intern, focusing on data trust and safety for international live‑streaming products. You will work on building and improving systems that protect users from harmful content and enhance the overall safety experience.
Key responsibilities
- Research and develop trust‑and‑safety related backend systems and product features for live streaming.
- Improve safety processes, user perception, and review efficiency.
- Design and implement high‑concurrency, high‑stability services for a large active‑user base.
- Analyze business requirements and propose solutions to live‑streaming safety challenges.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong problem‑analysis skills and ability to identify root causes.
- Good communication, teamwork, and a proactive, responsible attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, PHP, C++, or Java.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
