Back of House Team Leader – Retail Operations

About the role

As the Back of House (BOH) Team Leader for Hermès in Brisbane, you will oversee all operational functions that keep the store running smoothly. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead the BOH team, manage inventory, ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, and supervise the Store Administration team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, communicate and train staff on operational policies and procedures.
• Oversee cash handling, CRM, and store banking processes, investigating any discrepancies.
• Manage inventory control, including shipping, receiving, stockroom organization, cycle counts and reduction of aging stock.
• Coordinate packaging replenishment and lead inventory‑related projects such as HLink and Ala Carte.
• Supervise after‑sales service, store card matters, and the administration, cashier and service teams.
• Prepare and analyse sales, KPI and CRM reports, supporting store audits and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading back‑of‑house or store operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, cash handling and audit procedures.
• Ability to train staff, enforce policies and drive operational efficiency.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
