Auditor (Operations)

About the role

Revolut is seeking a motivated Internal Auditor to provide assurance over governance and control frameworks for its operations in Australia. You will work closely with the Head of Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure efficient risk management and compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the local Head of Internal Audit to develop a risk‑based internal audit plan for Australian operations.
• Deliver end‑to‑end internal audits, including scoping, risk and control assessment, documenting exceptions, and agreeing on management actions.
• Formalise internal audit deliverables, templates, and procedures.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business priorities such as product launches and incorporate them into risk assessments.
• Validate completion of management actions from prior audit findings against agreed success criteria.
• Report progress and findings to internal governance forums.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in an audit‑related role, preferably within banking, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Knowledge of Australian banking and financial services regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort operating in ambiguous, agile settings.
• Professional risk mindset and excellent critical‑thinking skills.
• Impeccable interpersonal and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data analysis using SQL, SAS, Python, or R.
