Audit Senior – Dynamic Mid‑Tier Firm

About the role

Join William Buck’s growing Audit & Assurance division as an Audit Senior. You will work closely with partners and managers on a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, ASX‑listed entities, large proprietary companies, subsidiaries of foreign groups and not‑for‑profits.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Audit Managers and Partners throughout all phases of audit engagements.
• Liaise directly with a broad range of clients on audit matters.
• Evaluate and document control environments and internal controls.
• Prepare financial reports in accordance with relevant reporting frameworks.
• Draft audit reports and contribute to the development of junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of audit advisory experience.
• Relevant university degree and CA, ACA or ACCA qualification (preferred).
• Strong client‑service focus and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Effective communication and ability to gain cooperation from stakeholders.

Required skills

• Exceptional knowledge of local and international audit standards.
• Proficiency with IFRS reporting framework.
