Associate – Wealth Management Advisory

About the role

Join LGT Wealth Management’s Advisory team in Adelaide as an Associate, supporting Investment Advisers in delivering high‑quality service to high‑net‑worth clients. This 24‑month fixed‑term position offers exposure to sophisticated portfolios and global investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding of new clients, account openings and day‑to‑day portfolio administration.
• Coordinate cash and stock transfers, corporate actions, margin calls, settlements and international trading.
• Prepare meeting materials, investment proposals, pitch documents and review packs for Investment Advisers.
• Maintain accurate client files in Avaloq and ensure compliance standards are met.
• Liaise daily with clients, internal teams and external providers to resolve queries and deliver seamless service.
• Monitor client milestones such as annual reviews, documentation updates and risk‑profile renewals.
• Assist in organising client functions and marketing events.

Required profile

• 2+ years’ experience in wealth management or a similar client‑facing financial services role.
• Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills with a genuine client‑first mindset.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with a proactive, resourceful and solutions‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using Avaloq or similar portfolio administration systems.
