Associate Technical Services Specialist

About the role

The Service & Repair team at Medtronic provides on‑site service, maintenance and repair for a range of surgical and cardiac capital equipment. This associate position is based in Horsley Park, Sydney and involves regular travel to hospitals and customer sites within the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on high‑speed drills, Electrosurgical Units (ESUs), cardiac surgery equipment and other medical devices according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimise downtime and ensure safe, reliable performance.
• Document service activities, maintenance records and parts usage in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades and product evaluations at customer facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (0 years experience) or Diploma (2+ years) or Trade qualification (4+ years) in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electromechanical or biomedical equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow quality/regulatory standards.
