About the role

Albury Wodonga Health (AWH), the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead its perioperative team at the Wodonga campus. The role suits a skilled perioperative nurse or a skilled leader who wants to lead a team and make a difference to patient care. The position is permanent and full time.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• At least five years of postgraduate relevant nursing experience.
• Relevant post-basic qualifications and experience in perioperative nursing.
• Recent management experience and the ability to manage staff positively and work as part of a team.
• Demonstrated calm, effective response under stress using sound judgment.
• Good understanding of quality management and risk management principles.
