About the role

The School of Law is seeking an Associate Lecturer to join its teaching team at either the Parramatta South or Campbelltown campuses. This full‑time, ongoing position offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to shape future legal practice through high‑quality education and research.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver undergraduate law units, preparing contemporary learning materials and assessments.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progression.
• Contribute to curriculum design and program development in collaboration with academic and professional staff.
• Engage with students through school activities, outreach events, and community initiatives.
• Develop a scholarly profile by planning research, publishing outputs, and supporting funding applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with the legal profession, judiciary, and community organisations.

Required profile

• Doctoral qualification in law or a master’s degree with a commitment to doctoral study.
• Proven experience delivering engaging tertiary teaching using contemporary approaches.
• Experience designing and delivering outreach across diverse education settings.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with legal and academic stakeholders.
• Demonstrated research activity or clear potential to produce publications and scholarly outputs.
• Ability to supervise honours or higher degree research students.
• Collaborative mindset for cross‑disciplinary research proposals.
