Associate Director – Project Management (Education Sector)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director to join the Project Management team in Sydney, supporting the Education Sector Lead in driving growth, profitability and service excellence across education projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Education Sector Lead in pursuing and managing service excellence across all commissions.
• Manage multiple education projects through planning and delivery phases.
• Lead project review, financial management, change control and quality reporting mechanisms.
• Establish relationships with key departmental and senior stakeholder representatives.
• Lead large stakeholder groups focused on business outcomes and drive business development activities such as proposal development and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognised degree or equivalent in Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or Cost Management.
• 8+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in consultancy or client‑side roles.
• Experience within the real‑estate industry with particular expertise in the education sector.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills, with excellent written English and report/bid writing ability.
