Planner – Building Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Planner to provide scheduling services across a range of building projects. You will work closely with contractors and client‑side stakeholders to develop and maintain integrated master schedules, ensuring projects stay on track and meet contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑baseline reviews of contractor programmes to verify compliance with contractual and industry scheduling standards.
• Prepare progress update reports, highlighting key schedule risks and opportunities for clients.
• Recommend corrective actions and design acceleration programmes when major delays occur.
• Perform delay analysis and support senior schedulers in managing delay claims.
• Facilitate meetings with multiple client stakeholders to capture inputs and integrate them into a comprehensive Master Works Programme linked to the main contractor’s schedule.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Construction, Building, Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Scheduler/Planner on building projects; data‑center experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end construction processes and on‑site construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
