Associate Director – Loan Structuring & Execution

About the role

ANZ is seeking an Associate Director to lead the structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution of complex loan transactions for its Institutional customers. You will work closely with deal teams to deliver tailored loan solutions while ensuring compliance with credit approvals and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end loan transaction process from structuring advice to financial close.
• Prepare term sheets, mandate documents and high‑level key terms for diverse facilities (bilateral, syndicated, property, construction, leveraged, sustainable finance, etc.).
• Appoint, instruct and oversee external lawyers, handling fee estimates, timelines and legal documentation.
• Review and comment on finance documents to ensure alignment with customer expectations, market standards, bank policy and credit approvals.
• Collaborate with deal teams, credit workshops and risk managers to support deal origination and improve customer experience.

Required profile

• Significant experience in loan structuring and execution within an institutional banking environment.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, regulatory requirements and documentation standards.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑party transactions and lead negotiations.
