Associate - Corporate & Commercial Financial Services

About the role

The Sydney Corporate practice of HWL Ebsworth's Corporate & Commercial financial services group is growing, and the Associate position works primarily with Andrew Galvin. You will handle a mix of financial services regulatory matters, gaining exposure to major banks, wealth management providers, superannuation funds, life insurers and emerging payments and fintech providers, as well as broader regulatory and strategic advisory work across the financial services sector.

Required profile

• Ideally 4+ years of professional experience
• Experience in financial services regulatory matters, such as superannuation, general and life insurance, funds management, banking, payments, fintech and/or Australian Financial Services licensing
• Ability to run matters with minimal supervision among senior applicants
• Interest in building client relationships
• Full working rights in Australia and a valid practicing certificate

• Financial services regulatory knowledge
