Associate Consultant – Technology

About the role

Kaliba is seeking an ambitious individual to join its Melbourne team as an Associate Consultant – Technology. No prior recruitment experience is required; you will be trained from the ground up to become a successful technology recruiter.

Key responsibilities

• Source and headhunt high‑quality technology candidates using LinkedIn, recruitment platforms and AI tools.
• Interview, qualify and prepare candidates for client interviews.
• Write compelling job advertisements and candidate profiles.
• Manage candidate pipelines and recruitment processes from start to finish.
• Build and maintain relationships with both candidates and client companies.
• Support senior recruiters on major search assignments and attend client meetings.
• Develop your own network within the technology industry and eventually run your own vacancies.

Required profile

• Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Highly competitive, motivated by results and a strong work ethic.
• Organised with good time‑management skills and not afraid to pick up the phone.
• Open to feedback and eager to improve.
• Team‑oriented with a personable, socially aware attitude.
