Assistant Store Manager – Retail Beauty (Hobart)

About the role

The Body Shop Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in delivering retail excellence at our Hobart location. You will lead a team to provide outstanding customer experiences, achieve strong sales results, and uphold the brand’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and motivate the team to meet high customer service standards.
• Oversee front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, ensuring efficiency and harmony on the shop floor.
• Analyse performance data, manage commercial activities, and drive sales targets.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the beauty market, competitors, and product range.
• Support recruitment, development, and retention of staff who embody the brand.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet sales and performance targets.
• Strong planning, organising, and decision‑making skills using data insights.
• Collaborative mindset with experience in team coaching and development.
• Excellent communication and operational leadership.
• Flexibility to work a roster that includes Sunday to Saturday.
