Assistant Store Manager - Repco Albany

About the role

Repco, part of GPC Asia Pacific, is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for its Albany store. The role is hands-on and full time, with a focus on coaching and developing the team, driving store performance and setting a positive example of service. Weekend trading is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and manage operations
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe and role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers
• Act as a safety leader, keeping the work environment safe for yourself, team members and customers
• Set a positive example and often handle opening and closing duties
• Oversee and supervise daily store operations so that customers receive outstanding service
• Receive, dispatch and put away stock, which involves lifting, bending and climbing

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience, or readiness for that next step
• Retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale and/or workshop operations
• Ideally mechanical or automotive parts knowledge
• Flexible availability and a valid driver's licence
• Openness to applicants without industry experience
