Assistant Store Manager - Bondi

About the role

Salomon, a leading outdoor sports brand owned by Amer Sports, is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for its Bondi store. You will act as the right-hand person to the Store Manager, helping to create an excellent in-store experience, lead the team and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate the team to hit sales targets and deliver great customer service.
• Oversee inventory and visual merchandising so the store looks and runs well.
• Develop and run strategies to increase foot traffic, sales and customer loyalty.
• Recruit, train and develop staff alongside the Store Manager.
• Help run a new store, including projects for a seamless launch.
• Monitor performance numbers, manage the budget and prepare regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar leadership role in retail.
• Strong track record of hitting sales targets and improving store performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach able to handle many priorities in a fast pace.
• Passion for outdoor sports and knowledge of the Salomon brand and products.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays (Sun-Thurs roster).
