About the role
A fast-growing casual dining brand in Australia is recruiting an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Sunshine Coast through its recruiter Hospoworld. You will lead a section of the business and drive profit, sales and culture, gaining a deeper understanding of restaurant operations, financials and people management. The role is full time with no overnight shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of staff and manage day-to-day restaurant operations
- Troubleshoot service issues, customer complaints and enquiries
- Handle staffing solutions, OHS and food safety compliance
- Drive profit and sales within the restaurant
Required profile
- Preferred: leadership-level experience in food retail, casual dining or a QSR group
- Well-presented, naturally positive and competitive, with a strong sense of teamwork
- Confident managing daily operations and challenges
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
- Unrestricted Australian working rights required
