Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager

About the role

Join the vibrant Sydney Olympic Park precinct as an Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager, supporting the daily operations of Boulevard Brasserie & Bar at Novotel and ibis. You will work closely with the Restaurant & Bar Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences in a busy hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant and bar operations, maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and develop the Food & Beverage team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
• Manage stock ordering, inventory control, stocktakes and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, WHS regulations and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with Kitchen, Front Office, Sales & Marketing and Events teams for conferences and special events.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a Food & Beverage outlet, preferably in a hotel.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and full Australian working rights.
• Availability to work a rotating roster including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, cocktails and beverage service.
• Experience with stock control and inventory management.
• Proficiency in using Micros POS systems.
