Assistant Property Manager – Sydney

About the role

Join a high‑performing property team at a leading Asia‑Pacific real asset manager. As an Assistant Property Manager you will support the day‑to‑day management of a premium industrial and logistics portfolio, building strong tenant relationships and contributing to the financial and operational performance of the assets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of a designated property portfolio with a focus on tenant service and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong tenant relationships to drive high occupancy and retention.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, business plans and regular financial reporting.
• Undertake expense reforecasting and support net operating income review and variance analysis.
• Help with rental reviews, lease administration and outgoings recovery processes.
• Coordinate with Facilities Managers to ensure high standards of asset presentation and performance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and periodic property reports.
• Maintain accurate property and lease data in systems, including Yardi.
• Support capital expenditure planning and forecasting activities.
• Assist in managing tenant accounts, rental collections and minimising arrears.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in industrial or commercial property management.
• Tertiary qualification in property or a related discipline.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness with ability to interpret property performance data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and capable of building relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Yardi property management system (preferred).
• Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
