Assistant Manager - External Audit

About the role

KPMG Australia is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and manage audit engagements for high‑profile clients in Brisbane. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality audit and assurance services while supporting business development and talent growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements for high‑profile clients, covering all aspects of audit delivery, client service and business development.
• Execute advisory‑related engagements and ensure quality assurance and reporting.
• Provide inspirational leadership to develop and grow audit talent.
• Build strong relationships with prestigious audit clients.

Required profile

• Proven track record of high performance and success.
• Strong IFRS knowledge.
• Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated team leadership abilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (CA, CPA or equivalent) or ability to obtain them.
