Assistant Manager – Agribusiness Banking

About the role

As an Assistant Manager in the Agribusiness division of ANZ’s Business & Private Bank, you will work closely with a Relationship Manager to service a portfolio of agribusiness clients in Mildura. The role offers the chance to develop specialist industry knowledge while contributing to the bank’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each client’s business and financial requirements.
• Provide tailored banking solutions, including product recommendations and account maintenance, that align with customer needs.
• Drive portfolio growth through new customer acquisition, cross‑selling, and referrals.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures while managing workflow and documentation.
• Collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a commercial banking frontline or commercial lending role.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build and sustain relationships.
• Analytical ability to interpret financial data and identify opportunities.
• Commitment to adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
