Assistant Fresh Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

The Assistant Fresh Manager supports the Fresh department in delivering an excellent shopping experience while beginning a leadership journey within Woolworths Group. You will work closely with store teams, learn department operations, and develop the skills needed for future senior roles.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day management of the Fresh department, ensuring product availability and presentation standards.
• Promote a safe environment for customers and team members by following store safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a seamless overall store experience.
• Support and coach department staff, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and operational KPIs.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about delivering great customer service and modelling Everyday ACTs (Acknowledge, Care & Thank).
• Strong desire to learn department operations and support the team daily.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across the store.
• Interest in developing personal leadership style and growing into a future leader.
