Assistant Director, Early Childhood Centre

About the role

Campbelltown & Kilkenny (C&K) Herston Road is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Director to support its director and team in creating a warm, welcoming and inspiring environment for children, families and educators. The role combines contact work with educators and children in the learning environment with centre leadership, operations, compliance and management. It is a permanent full-time position with 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, a monthly rostered day off and pay of $40.90-$42.23 per hour plus super.

Key responsibilities

• Support educators and children within the learning environment
• Develop experience in centre leadership, operations, compliance and management

Required profile

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or willingness to study towards it
• Completed National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
• Police check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
