Assistant Brand Manager – Melbourne

About the role

Join Mars Petcare’s ADVANCE Marketing team in Melbourne and help shape the future of one of the world’s most loved pet‑food brands. As an Assistant Brand Manager you will support 360° campaigns, new product launches and innovation projects across traditional and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market, category, competitor and consumer data to turn insights into actionable brand strategies.
• Support the planning and execution of 360° marketing plans, ensuring flawless delivery and measurable results.
• Collaborate with Brand, Shopper, Professional Services and digital teams to maximise campaign impact.
• Coordinate professional‑facing initiatives such as events, merchandise and trade materials for the ANZ market.
• Manage budgets, track performance, lead social media content and extract insights to continuously improve brand activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Business, preferably with a major in Marketing and digital exposure.
• Experience in CPG brand management, delivering campaigns across traditional, digital paid and organic channels.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to prioritise multiple projects.
• Action‑oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to hit the ground running.
