About the role
A host company in Bella Vista, NSW is looking for an Assistant Accountant Intern. The company invests in fresh talent, offers meaningful work experience with strong supervision and a supportive environment, and plans to offer permanent employment to the suitable candidate. Interns can work 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
Key responsibilities
- Ledger entry and book-keeping
- Assist in preparing income and expenditure reports, profit and loss statements and trial balances
- Prepare business activity statements and tax reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Prepare payroll
Required profile
- Student of a relevant degree or recent graduate
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- The technical and soft skills needed for the job
- Commitment to a career in their field of study
- Able to work at least 3 days per week
Required skills
- Use of MYOB, Xero and SAP
