Asset and Configuration Coordinator

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is looking for an Asset and Configuration Coordinator to join its Service Management team in Australia. You will be responsible for keeping the company’s asset and configuration data accurate, up‑to‑date and ready for reporting, audits and day‑to‑day service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate asset and configuration records across CT systems through consistent data entry and regular updates.
• Support the full asset lifecycle, including assignment, return, maintenance, disposal and retirement.
• Update and maintain CMDB records, ensuring configuration items, relationships, locations and status details are current.
• Identify and resolve missing, incomplete or inconsistent data to improve overall data quality.
• Work with technical teams, service desk, project teams and service management stakeholders to validate information.
• Document all changes to assets and configuration items in the relevant systems.
• Assist in audits of asset and configuration data, providing evidence and supporting compliance.
• Compile reports on data quality, track discrepancies and remediation actions.
• Act as the first point of contact for basic asset and configuration queries and escalate issues when needed.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality.

Required profile

• NV1 security clearance is mandatory.
• Experience or strong interest in IT Service Management, preferably within an ITIL‑aligned environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong data‑entry/record‑management abilities.

Required skills

• ITIL Foundation (or willingness to obtain certification).
• CMDB administration.
• Asset Management processes.
• Configuration Management processes.
