Artificial Intelligence Services Officer

About the role

The Artificial Intelligence Services Officer will help the ACT Government deliver Whole‑of‑Government AI services that improve public services. You will support the adoption of AI tools, coordinate use‑case development, and contribute to governance, security and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AI tools and platforms used across government departments.
• Coordinate AI use‑cases and support service improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to AI governance, security assurance and compliance processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to drive AI projects from concept through implementation.
• Ensure AI services remain secure, reliable and aligned with government priorities.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Experience supporting digital, technology or service delivery initiatives.
• Genuine interest in AI, emerging technologies and innovation.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.

• Salary range $102,657 – $116,592 per year plus superannuation.
