Architectural Designer (Revit & CAD Documentation)

About the role

BRIK Building Design is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to produce high‑quality construction documentation for residential projects across Victoria. The role is fully remote and works closely with the Director to turn approved concepts into permit‑ready packages.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete Building Permit and construction documentation sets.
• Create floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, site plans, schedules and detailed construction drawings.
• Update drawings in response to feedback from consultants, clients and authorities.
• Coordinate architectural documents with structural, civil, energy‑rating and other consultant inputs.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in developing and improving internal Revit standards, templates and libraries.
• Manage project deadlines and communicate progress regularly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting, BIM modelling or construction documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and strong skills in AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed working drawings and permit documentation.
• Excellent understanding of building construction methods and detailing.
• Strong attention to detail, quality control and ability to work independently.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable home‑office setup.
