Architectural BIM Designer – Data Center Design

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer with a strong passion for BIM to join our multi‑discipline design team. You will work on complex Amazon‑owned data centre projects, leveraging AI‑enhanced tools and sustainable design practices to shape the future of cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design architectural systems for data centre facilities using Revit.
• Create, maintain, and coordinate Architectural and Structural BIM models.
• Collaborate with internal engineering groups, external suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
• Support the Central Engineering Team by preparing BIM data for exterior envelope, interior architecture, furniture, finishes, equipment, site and space planning, life‑safety, structural systems, and code compliance.
• Produce and update architectural drawing sets for the data centre fleet.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Architectural Designer with a focus on BIM.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and within a collaborative team.
• Curious mindset with a willingness to learn emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of sustainable design and building‑code requirements.
