Architect – Retail & Commercial Projects

About the role

We are seeking a technically talented Architect or Building Designer to join our Perth office. The role involves delivering retail and commercial projects from town planning through to full architectural documentation, working closely with internal and external clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural documentation for retail and commercial projects.
• Manage projects from town planning phase to construction documentation, ensuring compliance with the Building Code of Australia.
• Conduct site surveys, measurements and coordinate with contractors.
• Mentor junior staff, share knowledge and support team development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain client relationships.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years experience in retail and commercial architecture.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction and the BCA.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small to large team.
• Excellent time‑management, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Relevant architectural degree or qualification and a current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in REVIT.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
