Apprentice Mobile Plant Technician

About the role

Komatsu Forklift Australia promotes, sells, hires and services the full range of Komatsu forklifts and related equipment. An apprenticeship is available for an Apprentice Mobile Plant Technician at the Adelaide branch, where you will learn to maintain, diagnose and repair Komatsu forklifts and associated equipment while developing your technical skills. You will work alongside experienced technicians in a team focused on safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a professional level of customer service
• Learn to keep accurate records of work orders and timesheets
• Be trained to diagnose and determine faults on equipment
• Receive on-the-job training to perform routine maintenance
• Work autonomously in a time-critical environment
• Stay safety-conscious in high-risk environments

Required profile

• Current driver's licence; a vehicle may be provided
• Interest in learning diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Previous experience in a mechanical environment is desirable
• Ability to understand industry safety protocols
