Apprentice Glazier (1st to 4th Year)

About the role

Miglas Windows is seeking motivated apprentice glaziers from their 1st to 4th year of training to join a hands‑on team. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining practical experience in glass installation and window manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced glaziers with installation and replacement of glass and glazing products.
• Learn to safely handle, measure, cut and install glass.
• Support the installation of windows, doors and related glazing components.
• Use hand and power tools correctly and safely.
• Measure openings and materials accurately and prepare frames for glazing.
• Apply sealants, adhesives and glazing compounds as required.
• Assist with repairs, maintenance and adjustments while following WHS procedures.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in becoming a qualified glazier and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality.
• Good communication, problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Physically capable of working safely with glass and glazing materials.
• Safety‑conscious and able to follow safe work practices.
• Effective both independently and as part of a team.
