App Developer – Kotlin Multiplatform (Sydney)

About the role

Humanitix is looking for a passionate app developer to help build the core mobile experience that powers live events. You will work on the host app and new attendee‑facing features, using Kotlin Multiplatform to share logic across Android and iOS while collaborating closely with backend, web and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Humanitix host app for on‑day event operations such as check‑in and box‑office sales.
• Design and develop new mobile experiences that delight event attendees.
• Write shared business logic in Kotlin Multiplatform that runs reliably on Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers and designers to take features from concept to release.
• Contribute to architectural, performance and quality decisions.

Required profile

• Ethically aligned with Humanitix’s mission and genuinely inspired by it.
• Good sense of humour, warm heart and strong work ethic.
• Confidence to raise issues and seek help when needed.
• App development experience; Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
• Expertise in documentation and testing.
• Understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
• Curiosity, a thirst for learning and an eye for detail.
