Angular Javascript Developer – 12‑month contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Angular Javascript Developer to join an agile delivery team building digital services used daily by Australians. This 12‑month contract (with two optional 12‑month extensions) offers the chance to work on modern web applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable and aligned with best‑practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain complex front‑end solutions using Angular and TypeScript.
• Create technical designs that support scalable and maintainable applications.
• Write, test, document and maintain high‑quality code.
• Participate in prototyping, unit testing, integration and deployment activities.
• Support go‑live and ongoing application support, resolving technical issues.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, testers, product owners and multidisciplinary agile teams.
• Assess and manage technical risks while meeting project timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of front‑end development experience focused on Angular.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Baseline Security Clearance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
