Analyst - Gaming

About the role

Crown Melbourne is seeking an Analyst to join its Gaming Machines team. The role delivers accurate analysis, reporting and insights that support business performance and strategic decisions, and suits an early-career analyst wanting to build commercial acumen, analytical capability and stakeholder management skills in a large organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret Gaming Machine data to identify performance insights
• Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports supporting operational and strategic decisions
• Extract, manipulate and interpret large data sets to generate actionable insights
• Support analysis of key projects, initiatives and new product implementations
• Assist with testing and validation of new gaming products and software releases
• Ensure reporting and recommendations align with regulatory requirements and business objectives

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Statistics or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Understanding of data analysis and statistical techniques
• Ability to turn data into meaningful business insights, with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Organised, able to manage competing priorities, and able to work independently and in a team

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau (advantageous)
