Analyst Developer – Web Applications (Angular, AWS)

About the role

This position is a core web development role within Auto & General, focused on delivering digital experiences for customers to purchase and manage insurance policies online. You will work in an agile, cross‑functional team delivering applications to AWS using modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions that meet sprint goals.
• Lead solution design and contribute to the evolution of the modern architecture.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployment infrastructure.
• Own product features, propose improvements and drive innovation.
• Establish and execute best‑practice testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end).
• Collaborate with developers, testers and agile practitioners across the team.
• Support operational activities and respond to ad‑hoc requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern front‑end architecture.
• Proficiency with Angular 15+, JavaScript (ES 2015+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS developer tools, Docker and cloud deployment.
• Understanding of web security standards such as OWASP.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
