Allied Health Clinical Educator (Physiotherapist)

About the role

Cabrini Health is seeking a Physiotherapist to lead its allied health education and student program. The role is Grade 3, fixed term for 12 months at 30 hours per week, starting in February 2027. It is co-funded with Monash University and must be held by a registered Physiotherapist. The position is primarily based at Cabrini Malvern, with visits to other Cabrini sites and teaching undergraduate physiotherapists about one day per week at Monash University Frankston.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Allied Health and Allied Health Assistant student placements across Cabrini
• Support and develop clinical supervisors through education, mentoring and resources
• Foster partnerships with universities and education providers
• Teach undergraduate physiotherapy students at Monash University Frankston
• Lead student orientation, placement and evaluation processes
• Contribute to staff education, professional development and inter-professional learning
• Develop educational resources and support innovative learning opportunities
• Coordinate Safe Moves training and other education programs

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), highly recommended
• Experience in clinical education and student supervision
• Hospital-based physiotherapy experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
